In a bizarre twist to Kanye West's recent activities, a Louisville woman named Ricki Smith, 28, has claimed that the rapper instructed her "telegraphically" to steal a car with a child inside. The incident unfolded on the morning of August 30 on North Main Street in Evansville, Illinois.
According to local authorities, Smith was seen attempting to break into several vehicles before targeting one with a child sitting inside. The vehicle’s owner caught Smith in the act and intervened. When questioned by police, Smith allegedly stated that Kanye West had sent her a telepathic message directing her to commit the theft.
Smith now faces charges of Attempted Kidnapping and Attempted Auto Theft
