Teezo Touchdown has shared his thoughts on being mentioned by Kendrick Lamar in the rapper’s recent diss track, "Not Like Us," aimed at Drake. The song, which has been a major talking point in the hip-hop community, includes a line referencing Teezo's signature style: “Nail a n-gga to the cross/He walk around like Teezo!”

In an interview with Billboard, Teezo Touchdown expressed his neutrality regarding the ongoing beef between Lamar and Drake. He stated, “I made a decision that I wasn’t going to listen to any of the back-and-forth. I’m seeing a mob mentality, and I don’t like division. Sorry I’m so kumbaya, but it’s all love over here.” Teezo added that being acknowledged by both artists is a surreal moment for him, reflecting on his humble beginnings in Beaumont, Texas.

Teezo previously collaborated with Drake on the track "Amen" from Drake's 2023 album, *For All The Dogs*. Drake has praised Teezo’s debut album, *How Do You Sleep At Night?*, in the past, calling it some of the best music he’d heard.

Despite the buzz around "Not Like Us," the track did not secure the top spot on Billboard’s Songs of the Summer chart, which was awarded to Post Malone's “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen. "Not Like Us" came in at number three, behind Shaboozey’s "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."

Kendrick Lamar’s fans have expressed disappointment over the chart results, with some taking to social media to criticize the outcome. Critics argue that despite its significant presence, "Not Like Us" didn’t match its summer dominance with chart performance.

As the debate continues, Teezo Touchdown remains focused on his own path, reflecting a positive outlook despite the industry’s drama.
