Carti’s forthcoming album, *I Am Music*, remains one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. Producer Cardo, who has collaborated with Carti on recent singles like “H00DBYAIR” and “BACKR00MS,” provided insight into the album’s evolving sound. The new project, described as “burnt music,” draws influences from a range of sources including Three 6 Mafia, DJ Toomp, and even horror film composer John Carpenter.
