Atlanta, GA — Baby Tate, the artist behind the hit "Hey, Mickey!," has accused a security guard at a local cocktail bar of assault following an incident over the weekend. Tate took to social media to detail her experience, claiming that she and her party were subjected to harassment and violence by a security guard at El Malo on Sunday night.

According to Tate, the situation escalated when the guard, who she described as a "grown ass man," threw her to the ground after she merely questioned his aggressive behavior. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Tate expressed her frustration, stating, “He was pressing my party all night and harassing them then PUSHED ME TO THE FUCKING CONCRETE when I did nothing to him but ask why he was talking to me crazy. It’s actually giving LAW SUIT. no funny shit.”

Tate also mentioned that after the incident, she sought assistance from the police, but was told they could not act as she had already left the scene. The artist noted that the security guard continued to harass her party even after they left the bar, leading her to seek safety away from the venue .

On a separate note, Tate recently addressed criticism regarding her musical style and comparisons to other artists such as Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim. In an April freestyle, she defended her influences and pointed out that similar comparisons are not made with artists outside her demographic.

The allegations against the security guard could lead to legal action, as Tate has suggested that she may pursue a lawsuit over the incident. As of now, El Malo has not issued a public statement regarding the accusation.
