Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were seen humorously dodging reporters following their court appearance related to a fraud case. The light-hearted escape was captured on video by Florida’s Local 10 News on August 23, showcasing the duo running from the courthouse to their car while being chased by a camera crew.

In the viral clip, Kingston, known for his hit "Beautiful Girls," sprints towards his vehicle as a reporter jokes about the comical nature of the chase. Turner follows closely behind, waving and shouting playfully at the cameras before getting into their car.

The pair had just left a federal arraignment where they pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud. The allegations claim that Kingston and Turner acquired high-end jewelry and other luxury items using fraudulent documents, amounting to over $1 million.

Turner, who was arrested in May by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and the Davie Police SWAT, has a history of financial crimes, including false loan applications and bank fraud. The arrest was linked to a broader lawsuit involving Kingston, who is accused of failing to pay for various purchased items.

Attorney Dennis Card, representing one of Kingston's alleged victims, described the case as an organized scam. Card alleged that Kingston used his celebrity status to avoid paying for expensive items and that he is currently on felony probation for trafficking stolen property.

Kingston was booked into Broward County Jail in early June, facing multiple charges including grand theft, theft of a Cadillac Escalade, and defrauding banks. He was released on a $100,000 bond and now faces ten separate charges related to the case.

As the legal battle continues, the playful footage of Kingston and Turner provides a stark contrast to the serious nature of their legal issues.
