NBA YoungBoy's federal gun case has been transferred to Utah following his decision to plead guilty. Originally set to be adjudicated in Louisiana, the case involving the rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, will now be heard in Utah, where he faces additional drug fraud charges.

The drug fraud charges involve allegations that he participated in a scheme to fraudulently obtain prescriptions for Promethazine with Codeine. The scheme allegedly included impersonating a doctor and using a fake patient identity.


YoungBoy, who was previously under house arrest since 2021, faces up to ten years in prison due to his prior felony convictions. His legal troubles have attracted significant attention, including a recent court hearing that saw a surge of online support from fans.
