Kanye West has added a new verse to “Forever” from his album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures 2, as they continue updating the two-week-old project.
West has been tinkering with the project, which, as of Friday (August 16), now includes an added verse. While the first part of the verse is taken from the original version, the updated track features West adding onto the song and exploring the concept of our time on Earth
.
On the new version, Yeezy raps: “Just to cope, just a possible word of hope, like/ Maybe, possibly, if, time didn’t exist/ Four billion years in this bitch/ These lifetimes, blips.”

The updated Vultures 2 came with plenty of surprises. On Friday, (August 16), Ye and Ty added an extra four songs to their second collaborative project that feature some high-profile guests. Kid Cudi pops up on the previously heard “Gun to My Head” and Travis Scott guests on “Can U Be;” while “Drunk” features both Kodak Black and Latin superstar Peso Pluma.
Each of the songs are on separate digital deluxe versions of the album.
The duo previously updated Vultures 2 just days after it was released — and teased more “surprises” in store.
The first significant update to the album came with a number of changes to six of the project’s original 16 songs. Some of the most notable tweaks occurred on the Leon Bridges-sampling “River,” which featured completely different drums, some sound effects removed and an entirely new mix that boosts the vocals.
“Fried” also found the inclusion of new, seemingly unmastered ad-libs along with a different mix. “530” saw a number of its sound effects altered from the original version, mainly the drink pouring sounds, with distortion also added to some vocals. “Field Trip,” “Sky City” and “Dead” were also tweaked as part of the initial update.
Two days later, the digital deluxe version of the much-delayed album became available through Kanye’s website and featured a new song called “Take Off Your Dress.” Over a soul sample, Yeezy makes reference to prescription drugs and Lil Uzi Vert, rapping: “Hit me when church done / This ain’t Big Pharmacy but fucking Yeezy got Percs, huh? / You do what you want now / Like you Lil Uzi Vert or something.” He later namedrops Donda collaborator Westside Gunn with slick wordplay, spitting: “Killing these bitches like Griselda Blanco / When we on the westside, the gun in the Tahoe.”
