In a series of recent interviews, JT and Yung Miami have shed light on their decision to part ways as the City Girls. Both artists have moved on from the group and are now focusing on their solo careers. Their public comments provide insight into why the split was inevitable.

JT, speaking with Complex, described the breakup as a "mutual" decision that she feels was beneficial for both parties. "It made sense for both of us," she stated. Despite the split, JT emphasized that her identity as a City Girl remains central to who she is. "I’m like Tina Turner, I’m still a City Girl," she said. "I need my name. That’s the biggest thing about me; I can’t ever get away from being a City Girl."

On the latest episode of her show, *Caresha Please*, Yung Miami discussed the dissolution of the duo with Saucy Santana. She revealed that their physical and emotional distances contributed to the split. "We outgrew each other," Yung Miami explained. She noted that their different lifestyles and styles of dressing led to a lack of connection during their time together. "Whenever we tried to get together, it just didn’t connect," she added.

Yung Miami also recounted how the separation extended to their professional lives, noting that they even had separate dressing rooms and glam teams while on tour. "Whenever we tried to get together, it just didn’t hit," she said.

In addition to discussing the breakup, Yung Miami addressed her past relationship with Diddy. In light of recent serious allegations against the Bad Boy Records mogul, she clarified that her experience with him was not marked by physical violence. "I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience," Yung Miami said, referring to the broader allegations against Diddy, which he has denied.

As both JT and Yung Miami move forward with their individual projects, their reflections on the end of City Girls offer a window into their evolving personal and professional lives.
