Stanley Mulee Mutisya, a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to Lang'ata MP Jalang'o, has publicly criticized the politician for failing to honor a promise made during the 2021 campaign. Mutisya, who claims to have actively supported Jalang'o's bid for office, expressed his frustration after receiving only KSh 1,000 in response to his efforts.

Mutisya revealed that he not only changed his vote from Makueni to Lang'ata to support Jalang'o but also persuaded 2,000 people to cast their votes for the MP. He even campaigned on behalf of Jalang'o at Karen Catholic Church, driven by their shared likeness. Despite these contributions, Mutisya feels let down by Jalang'o’s lack of follow-through on his promises.

In response, Jalang'o questioned why his lookalike’s support should translate into personal responsibility, expressing disbelief at Mutisya's expectations. The MP’s reaction has left Mutisya feeling disheartened and questioning Jalang'o’s integrity.

Mutisya’s disappointment is compounded by what he perceives as a lack of respect and maturity from Jalang'o, adding that the MP’s unfulfilled promise has tarnished his view of politicians and their commitments.
