In a candid and heartfelt revelation, popular musician Flavour has opened up about a poignant and emotional chapter of his life. The star, known for his mesmeric voice and vibrant performances, shared his deeply personal experience of losing his virginity at the age of 24 and the impact it has had on him over the years.

Flavour, whose real name is Chinedu Okoli, reminisced on his early years, describing himself as "young, innocent, and ignorant." Prior to his late twenties, he remained a virgin, despite often sharing a bed with women without any intimate encounters. His preoccupation with music held his focus firmly; he spent 13 years with his band before embarking on a solo career, an era in which his sole obsession was his art

"I was so young, innocent, and ignorant. I was a virgin up till 24," Flavour stated. "I was with the band for 13 years before going solo so all through that time, it was just music. I didn't know anything outside music; a woman could sit directly in front of me and I'd be looking at her like Hello! I didn't even know how to talk to a lady. I couldn't even tell a girl that you're beautiful."

It was only after Flavour ventured into the "streets" that the spirit of pursuing women began to influence him. He vividly described the moment he lost his virginity, marking it as both a transformative and deeply emotional experience.

"When I got disvirgined, it was also when I was out there, and I remember crying and begging the girl who disvirgined me not to disvirgin me," he recounted. The incident occurred during the opening of a bar, where Flavour and his band were performing. A group of girls had been invited to enliven the event, and one of them approached him, complimenting his looks and expressing a desire to go to his house.

"I used to braid my hair but I was so innocent and I didn't know anything. Then one of the girls just walked up to me and told me that I was handsome and she wanted to go to my house. So when we got home, the whole thing happened and that's how I got disvirgined."

Despite being a renowned figure in the music industry, this poignant memory continues to haunt Flavour. "I still cry anytime I think about the moment I lost it," he admitted. The emotions tied to that night blend with the complexity of innocence lost and the perpetual innocence of an artist whose world was, until then, solely comprised of music.

Flavour's heartfelt confession offers a rare glimpse into the human side of a celebrity often perceived through the lens of fame and talent. It reminds us that even those who appear poised and confident before the world carry their own vulnerabilities and deeply personal stories.
