Fat Joe is ramping up excitement for his upcoming album by teasing a new single titled "Paradise," featuring DJ Khaled and Brazilian pop sensation Anitta. The rapper revealed the collaboration on Instagram, announcing that the track will make its debut with a live performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11. Following the performance, "Paradise" will be available on streaming platforms and accompanied by a music video.

In his Instagram post, Fat Joe hyped the single as the “new anthem” and teased fans with a brief preview, adding, “Stay Tuned!! Another [one]!” The cover art for the track was also unveiled, building further anticipation.

This announcement comes on the heels of Joe Crack's recent public appearances, including an event supporting President Joe Biden's campaign, where he performed alongside E-40. Fat Joe, who last released an album in 2021, had previously stated he wouldn’t be dropping new material soon but seems to have changed course.

Earlier this year, Fat Joe also engaged in significant political discussions, including a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris about marijuana legalization. Joe has been active in advocating for criminal justice reform and leveraging his platform for social issues.

Fat Joe’s upcoming album will mark his return to music after a brief hiatus, and with the high-profile collaboration and the MTV VMAs performance, it is clear he’s making a major push to make an impact this year.
