Drake has sparked speculation about a potential rekindling of his feud with Kendrick Lamar after sharing a provocative clip on his burner Instagram account. On August 25, Drizzy posted a video of former NBA star Rasheed Wallace’s famous 2004 prediction that the Detroit Pistons would bounce back against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The clip features Wallace’s confident declaration, “Y’all can put it on the front page, back page, middle page, wherever, headliners, column one or two — we will win game two,” a sentiment that proved accurate as the Pistons secured victory and eventually won the championship.

Drake’s choice of this video comes amidst heightened interest in his ongoing rivalry with Kendrick Lamar. The rapper, who has been busy collaborating with artists such as Sexyy Red and Benny The Butcher, recently dropped new tracks including “SOD,” “Circadian Rhythm,” and “No Face” featuring Playboi Carti.

In his track “No Face,” Drake seems to address Lamar and other critics with lines like, “N-ggas got lit off the features I skated on / I gotta know, I gotta know / How you get lit off the n-gga you hatin’ on?” This verse hints at Drizzy's frustration with being overshadowed and underscores his competitive spirit.

Additionally, Drake's lyrics in the second verse of “No Face” appear to directly target Kendrick, adopting a cadence similar to Lamar's and referencing the ongoing tension with lines like, “Quick, swap that shit out, and I came back reloaded.”

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar has remained largely silent since his Pop Out concert in June and the release of the “Not Like Us” music video. The absence of a response from Lamar leaves fans eagerly anticipating how this renewed rivalry might unfold.

As the industry watches closely, Drake’s cryptic post and recent releases suggest that the feud between him and Kendrick Lamar is far from over, setting the stage for what could be another intense chapter in their high-profile rivalry.
