A recently resurfaced video from OVO Fest 2013 has sparked fresh controversy over the relationship between Drake and The Weeknd. The clip, included in Drake's latest 100 Gigs release, shows the rapper interacting with various people backstage but seemingly ignoring The Weeknd, who appears to be left out of the social circle.

The footage, which runs for nearly a minute, captures Drake warmly embracing other guests while The Weeknd stands awkwardly in the background. It isn’t until the end of the video that Drake acknowledges The Weeknd, briefly dapping him up before the clip ends.

Critics quickly took to social media to voice their opinions, accusing Drake of passive-aggressive behavior. One commenter noted, “I hate this type of passive-aggressive behavior. Trying to alienate one person by engaging with everyone else around them.” Another user remarked, “You can definitely feel the tension,” and a third labeled Drake a “snake.”

The history between the two Canadian stars has been complex. The Weeknd first gained prominence with Drake's support, including on tracks like "Crew Love" from Drake's *Take Care* album. However, tensions began to surface when The Weeknd chose not to sign with Drake’s OVO Sound label, opting instead for Republic Records.

The Weeknd’s decision was later referenced in Metro Boomin and Future’s “All to Myself,” where he reflects on his decision not to join Drake’s label. Drake responded with diss tracks like “Push Ups” and “Family Matters,” targeting The Weeknd and his team.

The resurfacing of this video highlights ongoing friction between the two artists, reflecting the strained nature of their once-prominent collaboration.
