In a surprising twist, hip hop legend Dr. Dre is setting his sights on a new goal: competing in archery at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. And he’s not alone in this ambitious endeavor. Justin Huish, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in archery, has extended an offer to train Dre and help him prepare for the prestigious event.

Huish, a California native like Dre, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. "Anyone can do it at any age," Huish told TMZ Sports, referring to Dre’s potential Olympic aspirations. "You can be a phenom and you don't really know." The 49-year-old archery champion, who recently competed at the Outdoor Nationals in Texas, believes Dre has the potential to excel, despite the latter’s age of 59.

The two SoCal residents will benefit from their proximity, making it easier for Huish to provide personalized training. "I'll come to your house," Huish offered, emphasizing his commitment to helping Dre achieve his Olympic dreams. Additionally, Huish is prepared to connect Dre with key figures, including Team USA coaches, to further support his journey.

Huish, who missed the Tokyo Olympics, is also aiming for the 2028 Games, adding a personal incentive to their potential partnership. The prospect of seeing Dre and Huish working together is certainly exciting for both archery fans and the music world alike.
