DJ Envy’s Former Associate Cesar Pina Seeks Permission to Drive for Uber Amid Fraud Case

Cesar Pina, the former business partner of DJ Envy, has applied to become an Uber driver as he faces trial for wire fraud. Pina, who is accused of defrauding millions of dollars from investors through a real estate scam, is seeking modifications to his release conditions to allow him to drive for Uber and Lyft.

Pina was arrested in October 2023 for allegedly using his social media influence to deceive investors, promising high returns on real estate ventures and subsequently defrauding them. DJ Envy, who is listed in the ongoing case but has not been arrested, has stated he is willing to testify against Pina. Envy claims to be a victim himself, having lost $500,000 in a failed real estate project involving Pina.


As the case progresses, Envy continues to deny any wrongdoing and maintains that he is cooperating with legal proceedings. The situation remains under scrutiny as the court evaluates Pina’s request and other developments in the case.
