Beyoncé has made a significant mark in the country music scene with her latest achievements at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Music Awards. The superstar has garnered 17 nominations, placing her as the second most nominated artist of the year. This impressive count trails only behind Country sensation Zach Bryan, who leads with 19 nominations

Beyoncé’s nominations span several categories, highlighting the success of her genre-crossing album *Cowboy Carter*. The album’s singles "16 Carriages" and "Texas Hold 'Em" are vying for The Female Song of 2024, while her cover renditions of Dolly Parton's “Jolene” and The Beatles' “Blackbird” compete in The Cover Song of 2024 category. The latter features a collaboration with rising Country artists Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, and Tiera Kennedy.

In addition to her song nominations, Beyoncé is recognized in multiple categories including The People’s Artist of 2024, The Social Country Star of 2024, and The Album of 2024. Her collaborations are also in contention for The Song of 2024, The Collaboration Song of 2024, and The Crossover Song of 2024.

Despite not receiving a nomination for “Levii’s Jeans” from *Cowboy Carter*, Post Malone is also making waves with six nominations, five of which are for his collaboration with Morgan Wallen on “I Had Some Help.”

The winners of the People’s Choice Country Music Awards will be determined by fan votes, with the voting period running from August 13 to August 23. Fans are encouraged to vote on “Turbo Tuesday” (August 20), when votes are counted twice. Full details and voting can be accessed at VotePCCA.com.

Beyoncé’s foray into country music has been met with both praise and criticism, but her influence is undeniable. This summer, a special Apple Music series featured several rising Black artists covering Beyoncé’s hits, showcasing her impact on the genre.

Released in March, *Cowboy Carter* debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and has since been a major success, marking Beyoncé’s entry into the top 100 Hot 100 songs with 106 entries, solidifying her place as one of the top artists in the industry.

Stay tuned for the awards ceremony to see if Beyoncé continues to break new ground in country music.
