She criticized Rod Wave for not supporting her after she faced hostile treatment while opening for him on his 2023 Nostalgia Tour. Lennox recalled being hit by a bottle during a show and expressed disappointment that Rod Wave did not defend her either publicly or privately. She reflected on how the lack of support from Rod Wave contrasted sharply with the positive experiences she had while touring with other artists.
