A$AP Rocky has officially released the trippy visuals for his new single, “Tailor Swif,” from his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb. The video, filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine, features a variety of characters, costumes, and wild situations that align with the Harlem rapper’s unique style.

Originally, the entire album was set to be released on August 30, but due to leaks, the release has been postponed to an unspecified fall date. Rocky described Don’t Be Dumb as a mix of “German expressionism [and] ghetto futurism,” and considers it his best work yet. The album will be his first in six years, following his 2018 release Testing.

The song “Tailor Swif” was first performed in July 2022 at Rolling Loud Portugal and leaked online shortly after. Despite the setbacks, Rocky remains optimistic about the project, which includes contributions from notable producers like Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell, Madlib, and Mike Dean. He even played the album for legendary director Tim Burton, who was impressed by the music.

Rocky also shared his frustration over the leaks but expressed his determination to move forward. He highlighted one of the album’s tracks, “Shroom Cloud,” which addresses current affairs and world issues, reflecting a more mature and introspective side of the artist.
