Los Angeles, CA - August 13, 2024 — Young Buck has resolved his long-standing financial dispute with 50 Cent, settling a debt that had been a point of contention between the former G-Unit members. The rapper, whose real name is David Brown, owed 50 Cent $250,000 after borrowing funds to address financial difficulties.

Following his recent bankruptcy proceedings, Buck has managed to raise over $1 million by selling off valuable assets including jewelry, luxury cars, and the rights to his music catalog. This sum has been used to clear his debt to 50 Cent, along with settling a $190,000 IRS lien and child support obligations.

Buck is now free from any recording obligations to 50 Cent and can resume earning from his music career. In response to the settlement, 50 Cent took to Instagram to demand prompt payment, stating, “I don’t know why they make me go through this part, but I’m a need that money by Monday.”

The two artists have had a turbulent relationship since Buck’s departure from G-Unit in 2008. Their conflict has included public feuds and accusations, with Buck attributing some of his financial troubles to 50 Cent’s actions.

Despite their past issues, Buck has expressed openness to a possible future collaboration, suggesting he might be interested in rejoining G-Unit for a tour, though he remains skeptical about a full label signing at this time.
