50 Cent has reignited his long-standing feud with Irv Gotti by mocking the Murder Inc. founder, who is currently recovering from a stroke. On August 28, 50 Cent took to Instagram to post a photo of Gotti using a cane while recovering from his health scare, which was linked to his ongoing battle with diabetes.

The post featured a caption referencing 50 Cent’s classic track “Wanksta,” with the rapper taunting, “Damn homie, in high school you was the man homie, WTF happened to you?” He further taunted Gotti, saying, “I want Irv to get well, [raised eyebrow emoji] so he can have to watch my next wave [wave emoji] LOL.”

Gotti, 54, suffered a minor stroke earlier this year, exacerbated by his diabetes. A representative for Gotti confirmed to TMZ that he is on the mend and has made significant progress in his recovery. “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago,” the rep stated. “He has since changed his diet and is successfully making a full recovery.”

Gotti himself addressed the situation with The Shade Room, downplaying the severity of his health issues and emphasizing his focus on spending quality time with his family. He also expressed frustration over Wack 100 revealing details about his health.

Despite Gotti’s efforts to move past old conflicts, 50 Cent’s recent mockery underscores the ongoing animosity between the two. This is not the first time 50 Cent has targeted Gotti; earlier this year, he mocked Gotti’s former signee Ashanti’s pregnancy with Nelly.

The rivalry between 50 Cent and Irv Gotti, which peaked during the early 2000s, shows no signs of fading, with 50 Cent continuing to capitalize on the opportunity to taunt his old adversary.
