Suddenly, there’s hope for a release. Kanye West, known for his unconventional album rollouts, has kept fans on their toes. After dropping “Vultures 1,” a collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign in February, the anticipation for the next two installments—Vultures 2 and Vultures 3—has been met with radio silence. But now, Ty Dolla Sign has dropped a bombshell: Vultures 2 is set to be played in full this August.

The announcement came via a promo sheet shared by Ty Dolla Sign on July 25. The listening party is scheduled for August 25 in Taiwan, billed as a unique “listening experience.” Both Ty Dolla Sign and Kanye West are credited on the promo sheet under the title “Vultures.” While it might appear to be another event for the first album, Ty’s caption reveals otherwise. He wrote “V2,” confirming that they will finally unveil the second album in their trilogy.

For context, Vultures 2 was initially slated for a March release. The original plan was to drop all three albums consecutively, culminating in Vultures 3 in April. However, delays ensued. Kanye West faced controversies, and Ty Dolla Sign remained uncertain about when fans would hear the albums. In May, he hinted that Vultures 2 could drop “any day now.” More recently, he confirmed that all the songs for the album are completed.

“We’ve got all the songs,” Ty Dolla Sign stated. “Now it’s about taking it to the next level—how can we surpass the first album?” Leaked tracks include collaborations with Young Thug, Lil Wayne, and Kid Cudi. While a new release date hasn’t been announced by either artist, the upcoming listening parties signal progress. Perhaps the Vultures trilogy will finally see completion.
