Legendary guitarist Slash, known for his iconic role in Guns N' Roses, has announced the tragic passing of his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight at the age of 25.

Slash took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, describing Lucy-Bleu as a beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, and stepdaughter to Samantha Somers Knight and himself. Lucy-Bleu is survived by her sister Scarlet Knight, and step-siblings London and Cash Hudson.

In his Instagram post, Slash wrote, "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024."

He continued, "Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss."

Shortly after Slash's announcement, a poignant message appeared on Lucy-Bleu's own Instagram account. The post, seemingly scheduled prior to her passing, expressed regrets and reflections on personal growth.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Lucy-Bleu worked as a day-to-day manager at Electric Lady Management and had amassed a significant following on social media, particularly on Instagram where she showcased her talent as a tattoo artist.

Lucy-Bleu was born in 1998 to parents Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Slash and Meegan Hodges, who first dated in 1989, reunited in 2015. Though they were not married, Slash considered Lucy-Bleu as one of his own children.

The news of Lucy-Bleu's passing prompted an outpouring of support from fans and celebrities alike. Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea commented on Slash's post, "Oh man, god bless."
