Washington, DC — Sexyy Red has put rumors to rest about her performing at Donald Trump's upcoming presidential rally. The rapper, known for her unapologetic style and controversial opinions, addressed the speculation sparked by a tweet from Thee Pop Feed claiming she would take the stage at the event scheduled for August 3 in Atlanta.

Despite her previous comments expressing support for Trump, Sexyy Red clarified that she will not be appearing at the rally. In response to the initial tweet, she wrote, "Dey fakin dats cap," dismissing the rumor as false.

The speculation likely emerged as a counterbalance to high-profile appearances at recent political events. For instance, Kamala Harris’ July 30 rally featured performances by Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion, both of whom publicly supported her policies.

Sexyy Red’s clarification follows backlash she received for a performance featuring a MAGA-themed hat at the 2024 Roots Picnic. She later announced she would not endorse any presidential candidate, asserting her own candidacy with a tweet: “It’s Sexyy Red 4 President.”

While Trump may not have Sexyy Red’s backing, other rappers such as Kodak Black and Lil Pump have voiced their support for the former president in recent months.
