TORONTO, ON — ScHoolboy Q has found a bit of sweet revenge against Drake as Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” took over a Toronto venue co-owned by Drizzy. Earlier this month, Q was scheduled to perform at History, but the concert was abruptly canceled. The reason? The ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick, both of whom have ties to the TDE label.

However, DJ Scheme stepped in to make sure Q got a taste of vindication. During a show on Monday (July 29), Scheme played K. Dot’s chart-topping diss track to an enthusiastic Canadian crowd. The audience rapped along to every word, and Scheme shared a video on social media with the caption: “Sometimes u gotta PoP Out.”

ScHoolboy Q caught wind of the clip and seemed to relish Drake getting trolled. He tweeted: “HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH.” DJ Scheme confirmed that playing “Not Like Us” was a show of solidarity with Q, responding, “Got u always OG.”

The feud between Drake and Kendrick has been intense. When ScHoolboy Q’s Toronto show was canceled, he vented on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING.” He even hinted at violence, saying, “[I]f we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it… now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry.”

Drake responded by trolling Q, posting a selfie wearing blue slides, a nod to Q’s song of the same name. He also sported a “Free Yayo” T-shirt, reminiscent of Eminem’s Grammy Awards look from 2003.

Meanwhile, DJ Scheme has his own history with Drake. He previously called out the Canadian rapper for allegedly dissing his close friend and collaborator XXXTENTACION after X’s death in 2018. Scheme made his stance clear: “My Only Issue Is That After My Brother Died All Drake Did Was Throw Shots To Look More Gangster. So To Wrap Things Up It’s Still F*** Drake.”

In the world of hip-hop, loyalty runs deep, and this feud continues to captivate fans. As ScHoolboy Q enjoys the victory of “Not Like Us” taking over Drake’s Toronto venue, the rivalry remains as fierce as ever.
