Atlanta, GA — Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion made a powerful statement by endorsing Kamala Harris during a campaign rally in Atlanta. The A-list rap stars joined the presidential nominee in front of an estimated crowd of 10,000 supporters on Tuesday, July 30.

Megan Thee Stallion, the first special guest of the evening, took the stage in a cropped Democrat blue suit and rallied the crowd: “Let’s get this done, hotties. Hotties for Harris!” She then delivered a medley of hits, including “Girls in the Hood,” “Mamushi,” “Body,” and “Savage,” accompanied by backup dancers and plenty of energy.

Later in the rally, Atlanta native Quavo stepped up to express his support for Harris and her stance on gun violence. “One of the issues I care about is resolving the gun violence problem,” Quavo stated. “You can’t truly understand the struggles of gun violence unless you’re in the field or at its heart. Working with Vice President Harris, I’ve learned that she always stands on business.”

Quavo highlighted their collaboration, from discussing solutions at the White House last year to passing significant gun safety legislation. He emphasized the cultural significance of launching the first African American woman to run for president from the birthplace of the culture: “Yeah, we’re changing the culture again!”

Quavo concluded his speech by quoting his late nephew and Migos groupmate TakeOff, who was tragically killed in 2022: “If you’ve never voted before, make sure you get out and vote right now because it’s the real one. And in the words of my brother TakeOff, let me get a Kamala!”

During her own address, Harris invoked Quavo to critique her political opponent, Donald Trump: “Donald Trump talks a big game about securing our border, but he doesn’t walk the walk. Or as my friend Quavo would say, ‘He does not walk it like he talks it.’”

Georgia is a crucial battleground state in the upcoming election, with Trump expected to be the favorite. However, polling indicates a narrowing margin since Joe Biden stepped down and was replaced by Harris, who resonates more with young and Black voters.
