Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are set to drop their heavily-delayed album,  Vultures 2, this week – although, as with any anticipated release, things could change.

In a now-deleted update on Ye’s YZY website, a release date of Friday, August 2, was announced. The homepage boldly stated, “ALL ORDERS FULFILLED VULTURES 2 COMING AUGUST 2ND,” but the date was later removed, leaving only the beginning of the sentence visible.

The original message captured by Chart Data confirms that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s new album, VULTURES 2, will allegedly hit the airwaves this Friday:

Vultures 2 has faced multiple delays since missing its initial release date of March 8. Kanye West previously announced a May 3 release, but the project failed to materialize without explanation.

Despite the setbacks, Ty Dolla $ign has consistently assured fans that the album is still on its way. During a livestream with Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy in May, he confidently stated, “It’s dropping ASAP. Vultures 2 is on the way. It’s coming soon. Any day now.”

Interestingly, the project will be exclusively released on Kanye’s YZY app, a departure from traditional streaming services – an idea previously floated by Ye.

Adding to the anticipation, Ty Dolla revealed that he and the Chicago rap legend will deliver a Vultures “listening experience” in Taiwan on August 25. While details about the venue and tickets remain undisclosed, fans are hopeful for a memorable event.

This upcoming show is expected to premiere their second collaborative project, and Ty Dolla teased it with a simple caption: “V2.”

The news has re-energized fans, with one user commenting, “V2 IT’S COMING.” Even fellow rapper Denzel Curry expressed excitement, exclaiming, “LETS GOOOOOOOO.”

Following the Taiwan performance, a similar listening experience is planned for South Korea on August 23, as announced earlier this month.

Previously, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were scheduled for a mini-tour of U.S. cities to perform their first Vultures album. However, the plug was pulled at the last minute, reportedly due to “time constraints” in preparing the performances.

Additionally, a separate show at the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Egypt was postponed, and a rescheduled date is yet to be announced.
