Gucci Mane Mourns Death of Ex-1017 Rapper Enchanting: ‘A True Star’

According to The Shade Room, Enchanting’s team attributed her death to “a reported overdose.”

Enchanting, who was signed to Gucci’s imprint in 2020, remained with 1017 until early 2024. Her most recent project on the label was a deluxe version of her 2022 album, No Luv, titled Love Scarred/No Luv (Deluxe), which dropped in February 2023.


Upon hearing the news, Gucci expressed his sorrow on Instagram, writing, “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady, a true star. We’ll all miss you, Chant @luvenchanting.” Celebrity gossip App is the centre of all entertainment 

Critics in the comments of Gucci Mane’s posts pointed to the poor track record of many 1017 signees, seemingly blaming him for Enchanting’s passing. However, Gucci’s wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, defended him, stating, “Leave my husband alone! He signs these artists to help them and give them a better life! I wish it wasn’t like this! Chant, we love you, baby girl! RIH.”

Several 1017 artists, both past and present, have faced legal issues in recent years, including Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Hoodrich Paolo Juan, and Mac Critter.
