The once harmonious collaboration between G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha has taken a tumultuous turn, with Rexha publicly airing her grievances against the rapper on social media.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story shared on Thursday (June 13), Rexha exposed a private exchange with her team, revealing G-Eazy's indirect attempt to initiate a project centered around their 2015 hit "Me, Myself & I." Rexha's response was unequivocal – a screenshot captioned with scathing words directed at G-Eazy: *"@g_eazy you have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser."*

Rexha didn't stop there, threatening to divulge more about their strained relationship: *"You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the shitty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit."*

While Rexha removed the Story shortly after posting, she later expressed regret for deleting it, citing the lingering trauma from her past interactions with G-Eazy. "Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing," she disclosed in a subsequent post.

Before their fallout, Rexha had previously spoken highly of G-Eazy's artistic chemistry, describing their compatibility in a 2017 interview with HipHopDX. She emphasized their shared backgrounds in music management and their mutual passion for music, characterizing their collaboration as possessing "amazing energy and chemistry."

In contrast, G-Eazy has recently opened up about his hiatus from music, attributing it to burnout compounded by personal loss. Following a period of intense career success, including three consecutive platinum albums, the rapper stepped away from the spotlight to grieve the passing of his mother in 2021. In a candid interview, he acknowledged the need to reset professionally and personally, which included relocating to New York and changing management.

The rift between G-Eazy and Rexha underscores the complexities of artistic collaborations in the music industry, where personal dynamics can eclipse professional achievements. As both artists navigate their respective careers, the fallout from this public feud continues to resonate within their fan bases.
