Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, continues to navigate his visits to the UK with an emphasis on privacy and security, according to insights from royal expert Tom Quinn. With no permanent residence in the country since vacating Frogmore Cottage, Harry reportedly goes to great lengths to avoid detection during his stays.

In an exclusive conversation with The Mirror, Quinn highlighted Harry's aversion to traditional accommodations like hotels, citing a recent instance where the Duke allegedly arrived at a hotel in disguise, only to depart shortly thereafter due to security concerns.

"Harry hates the idea of hotels," Quinn disclosed, underscoring the Duke's discomfort with conventional lodgings. "The problems are even bigger if he plans to stay with friends, as he’s convinced he is always being watched by the media and fears his whereabouts will be exposed."

Harry's cautious approach stems from his heightened awareness of security risks, a sentiment exacerbated by recent legal battles over his taxpayer-funded security arrangements while in the UK. The Duke has been vocal about the safety of his family, expressing concerns that his children cannot feel secure in the UK, which he still considers a central part of their heritage.

Earlier this year, Harry faced setbacks in his legal challenges against the UK government's decision to reduce his security detail, a decision he argued was discriminatory and placed his family at risk.

Despite these challenges, Harry remains committed to maintaining ties with his homeland, albeit under carefully managed circumstances. As he and Meghan Markle navigate their lives between the UK and the United States, the Duke's quest for privacy continues to be a defining aspect of his public persona.
