In the ever-dramatic world of hip-hop, Cardi B has ignited speculation with a recent Instagram Live session, hinting at a forthcoming track she describes as "very mean." While the song's details remain under wraps, fans are buzzing with theories that it could be aimed at fellow rapper BIA.

During her Instagram Live on Wednesday (June 12), Cardi tantalized her followers with snippets of the track, even questioning whether she should release it against her team's advice. "I wanna drop something on Thursday but they telling me not to drop it," she shared. "Should I drop it? Should I leak it? I don’t know. It’s very mean, very very mean. It’s messy."

The teaser sparked a flurry of speculation on social media, with many fans pointing towards BIA as the possible subject, given the duo's recent public feud.

One fan commented, "She shouldn’t release it. Bia’s song came and went. No one is talking about the situation anymore. It’s a waste of Cardi’s time." Another fan drew parallels to rap beefs of the past, stating, "Bia in terms of career, status and impact doesn’t deserve a response. Nonetheless. ll cool j fried cannibus, queen latifah cooked Foxy, Eminem handled MGK. Do with that what you will. Lol."

The feud between Cardi B and BIA seemingly ignited earlier this year, with Cardi dropping her Missy Elliott-sampling "Like What (Freestyle)" shortly after BIA released "I’m That Bitch," featuring Missy’s close collaborator Timbaland.

The tension escalated further when fans pointed out similarities between another Cardi B track snippet and BIA's 2023 release "Fallback," prompting cryptic responses from both artists on social media.

However, things took a more direct turn with Cardi's verse on the remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion's "Wanna Be," where she seemingly threw shots at BIA. This prompted a swift response from BIA, who took to social media to address the perceived diss.

The back-and-forth continued, with Cardi sharing her side of the story on Instagram Live, emphasizing that she never intended to copy BIA and playfully encouraging fans to support BIA's music.

BIA retaliated with her own Instagram Live, previewing a diss track aimed at Cardi and bringing personal matters into the mix.

As tensions simmer, fans eagerly await the release of Cardi's speculated "mean" track, eager to witness the next chapter in this unfolding saga of hip-hop drama.
