Among the highlights of the night was "The Outsiders," produced by Angelina Jolie, clinching the coveted Best Musical award. Meanwhile, "Merrily We Roll Along" received critical acclaim, with Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe securing their first Tony wins for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical, respectively.
Legendary Broadway figures Jack O’Brien and George C. Wolfe were recognized with the 2024 Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, underscoring their profound impact on the industry.
