>Allie Shehorn, a renowned Hollywood makeup artist known for her work on hit movies like "Babylon" (2022) and the 2024 musical remake of "Mean Girls," is fighting for her life after being brutally attacked. Shehorn, 35, was reportedly stabbed over 20 times by her ex-boyfriend in her Los Angeles, California home on May 23.

Christine White, who described herself as Allie's surrogate mother, was staying with Shehorn at the time of the incident. "This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody," White told KTLA. "You don't think this is ever going to happen to you."

The vicious attack left Shehorn with severe injuries to her arms, neck, and abdomen. "I found her, and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened. That wasn't a pretty sight," White continued.

In response to this tragedy, friends of Shehorn have created a GoFundMe campaign to cover her extensive medical costs. The description on the fundraising page indicates that authorities apprehended the alleged attacker while he was attempting to flee the country from Texas. It was also reported that Shehorn had recently filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and had been a victim of domestic violence.

Emily MacDonald and Jed Dornoff, who set up the GoFundMe, shared their distress and urgency in the campaign description: "I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for someone very dear to me, my friend Allie. Recently, she faced a horrific and senseless act of violence."

The GoFundMe campaign has garnered significant support, raising over $87,800 of its $100,000 goal. "As a result, Allie is now in the hospital fighting for her life," the campaign notes. "She has undergone three separate surgeries and has been moved out of the intensive care unit. There is still a very long road ahead, but she is facing it with courage and determination."
