Rising rapper GloRilla is facing serious allegations from an Atlanta-based investor, Aristotle Varner Jr., who claims the artist defrauded him of over $400,000. Varner Jr. alleges that he paid the "Yeah Glo!" rapper $150,000 for a package that included a collaborative Instagram post, an in-person meet-and-greet, and a 30-minute interview with his wife, Asia Varner. According to the lawsuit, GloRilla only completed the Instagram post, leaving the other commitments unfulfilled since 2022.
Supporting his claims, Varner Jr. pointed to a TikTok video posted by his company, Aristotle Investments, in February 2023. The video shows GloRilla promoting Varner Jr.'s "free stock class," suggesting a partial fulfillment of the agreement but not the specific contract terms.
Despite the legal troubles, GloRilla continues to enjoy career success. She recently joined Megan Thee Stallion on her Hot Girl Summer Tour, where they were also joined by Cardi B for a performance at Madison Square Garden on May 21. The trio delivered an energetic set, featuring hits like "WAP" and "Tomorrow 2."
